My client is a worldwide prestigious security company looking for a Logistics Administrator to join them at their Leicester Electronics manufacturing base.
Location: LE19
Pay Rate: £12.30ph
The Logistics Administrator will be responsible for supporting all shipping and logistics, providing general administrative assistance within the Production Facility.
Main Duties:
1. Domestic and international shipping support
2. Assist with new supplier set up
3. Work alongside stores to maximise stock accuracy and business performance
4. RMA returns processing
5. Comply with Continuous Improvement initiatives for all areas
6. Assist with stock counts on a quarterly and incremental basis
7. Support stores for picking, scanning & packing
8. Gain knowledge of the Production department to provide cover for other team members during absence/increased workloads
9. Assist with purchasing of all overhead and project requirements from Corporate and Production departments
10. General administration duties
11. Prepare, route, and manage purchase orders
12. Collaboration with transportation systems
Skills/Experience Required:
Essential:
1. Competent with MS Excel & Word
2. Self-starter
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Meticulous and accurate worker
5. Strong team player
Desirable:
1. Knowledge of the GP MRP/ERP System or a similar system
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
