Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Team Leader
Are you a proactive leader with a passion for driving performance, developing talent, and delivering results? We're looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader to oversee our production cell operations, ensuring excellence in output, people, and process.
About the Role
As the Manufacturing Team Leader, you'll take charge of planning and executing the cell schedule to meet production targets, all while championing operational efficiency and continuous improvement. You’ll lead from the front—coaching, developing, and motivating your team to deliver high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Execute and manage the production schedule based on daily/weekly priorities
* Coordinate with Area Leaders to ensure smooth, cross-functional workflow
* Manage workflow, resource allocation, and capacity to meet production variations
* Monitor WIP using visual controls and maintain real-time tracking
* Drive skill development through cross-training and structured development plans
* Implement DSUM and TOC principles for resource coordination
* Promote performance through proactive feedback, development plans, and structured performance management
* Lead by example—setting high standards in professionalism, motivation, and safety
* Empower team members through coaching, feedback, and inclusive CI participation
* Drive improvements using tools such as CSIP, CAR, SPL, EL, and YIT
* Collaborate with Quality to manage risks associated with change
* Champion Lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and real-time decision-making
* Uphold world-class housekeeping and safety standards via 5S, GEMBA walks, and timely incident reporting
* Tackle underutilisation by unlocking the full potential of your team
What We’re Looking For
* Proven leadership in a production/manufacturing environment
* Strong grasp of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
* Ability to manage complex schedules and multiple priorities
* Skilled in motivating and developing individuals and teams
* Excellent communicator with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Experience with tools like TOC, DSUM, SPL, PDPs, and RFT metrics is a plus
