Job Title: Facilities Assistant\n\nLocation: Piccadilly Circus\n\nPay: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour\n\nDuration: Temporary (3 months minimum)\n\nDays/Hours: Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm\n\nAre you ready to jump into an exciting role in the heart of the entertainment and leisure industry? We are on the lookout for a proactive and enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to join our dynamic team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for keeping everything running smoothly, we want to hear from you!\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nAssist with day-to-day facilities tasks as directed by the Facilities team.\nSupervise contractors performing minor works, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.\nCollaborate with the in-house decorating team and the CAFM administrator to coordinate works and plan schedules.\nConduct weekly site inspections, focusing on maintenance issues and facilities checks.\nManage stores for general spares and work closely with the maintenance manager for updates.\nAssist with Legionella-related tasks and liaise with contractors and the maintenance team.\nCoordinate with our outsourced maintenance team to resolve outstanding issues effectively.\nWork alongside specialised contractors for drainage and other essential services to ensure satisfactory completion.
\n\nRequirements:\n\nPrevious maintenance/facilities management experience or similar.\nExperience in the FOH, theatre, hotel, or leisure industry would be desirable\nProactive and flexible attitude-demonstrate a 'can do' spirit even under pressure.\nStrong clients focus with excellent stakeholder management skills.\nAdaptable to changing requirements with a professional approach.\nDemonstrable management experience, including overseeing attendance issues.\nFamiliarity with CAFM systems is preferred.\nRelevant qualifications in Facilities Management and Legionella management/awareness.\nExcellent IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nProven record of accomplishment in maintenance or hard services within the FM sector.\nKnowledge of soft FM, security, and FOH services would be desirable\nUnderstanding of ACOP L8 regulations would be desirableAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
