We are looking to offer a Mobile Fitter the opportunity to join our expanding Plant & Fleet team based in Bristol.
About the team
With 8 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Services. We provide our business with more than 9,000 vehicles and over 25,000 owned or externally hired plant assets.
Our team has grown rapidly and we are responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles, supplying the Water, Energy, Transport, Data and Telecommunication sectors.
About the role
As a Mobile Fitter with us, you will be allocated a modern fully equipped service van, PDA and smart phone. Your backup is provided via our central service support network. You will get to travel and work unsupervised at customer sites. This is to service and repair a diverse range of LCV’s, Plant and Equipment within the utilities sector.

What you’ll be doing:
We’re looking for people who are self-motivated, flexible, effective communicators who pride themselves in working to high-standards to provide high-levels of customer service. You will hold a recognised apprenticeship or relevant qualifications in engineering either working with LCV’s, HGV’s or Plant equipment are preferred.
Ideally you will be experienced in LCV, Construction plant, material handling or ancillary equipment. You will be conversant with a range of disciplines. Along with strong diagnostic and electrical systems capabilities, however we can provide training for any areas you are looking to develop in.
What you’ll bring?
1. Hold an NVQ Level 3 or industry recognised qualification
2. Possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools
3. As part of this role you will use a range of diagnostic tools and equipment. You will need to be experienced and assured in using them
4. Ability to work alone, carrying out all statutory inspections, examinations, calibrations and service events, for all Plant & Vehicles for your nominated contracts
5. Excellent customer service skills
6. Willing to travel throughout the UK
