Working in the LCA department, working on manual & semi-automatic equipment on a 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM Mon to Wed and 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM Thur. Based in a manufacturing setting, an assembly operator is in charge of assembling materials using hands or tools. Their responsibilities include following assembly guidelines, packing items in containers and boxes, and operating tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Operate semi-automatic and manual assembly equipment as well as other associated equipment as and when required. Comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental & COSHH requirements.
2. Work to relevant processes and procedures. Carry out activities in line with company procedures and process standard work. Identify improvements and ensure efficient running of assembly equipment.
3. Feed components and replenish materials for assembly/packing processes. Experience in light assembly work (small components). Good hand-eye coordination required.
4. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment.
5. May be expected to work other shift patterns.

1. Fully committed to achieving the team's objectives and targets. Fully conversant with all aspects of the assembly systems.
2. Proactive towards improvement ideas/programs. Self-motivated and able to work using their own initiative.
3. Familiar with all associated quality standards. Willing to adapt to new working practices and techniques.
4. Flexible approach; must be willing to support in all areas of the Decorative Value Stream.
5. Good communicator at all levels.
