Role Overview:
An opportunity is open for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a dedicated team within a dynamic power management environment. This role is essential in providing engineering support to ensure efficient and robust manufacturing processes. Working closely with the plant manager and cross-functional teams, this position will support quality improvement initiatives, manage tooling and manufacturing processes, and serve as a key liaison for new development projects.

1. Deliver manufacturing engineering support across all value streams, focusing on maintaining efficient and safe manufacturing processes.
2. Lead and support root cause analysis (FRB and 8D) for issue resolution and continuous improvement.
3. Oversee manufacturing processes, including MFGPRO maintenance, standard work instructions, and tooling design and manufacturing.
4. Collaborate with development engineers and senior manufacturing engineers to bring new projects from development to full integration on the production floor.
5. Provide 3D printing support for development and production tooling needs across the facility.
6. Drive safety initiatives, promoting zero incidents through MESH (Management of Environmental, Safety, and Health) facilitation.
Qualifications for the Manufacturing Engineer Job in Redditch, Worcestershire:
1. HNC/HND or a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with aerospace experience preferred.
