About the role
Key Responsibilities - South Elmsall RDC
* Support the Warehouse Operations Manager with the smooth, efficient and cost-effective running of the warehouse.
* Work closely with the South Elmsall Management team to deliver strong results across all warehouse operations.
* Take ownership for health and safety during your shift and help build a strong safety-first culture across the site.
* Manage shift costs and productivity to help the site meet its budget, including controlling stock loss.
* Deliver great service to our customers by keeping service disruptions low and protecting product availability.
* Lead continuous improvement across your shift and support a culture of improvement across the warehouse.
* Be a positive role model and strong leader - coaching Team Managers, Warehouse Operatives and Clerical colleagues using our Winning Manager behaviours.
You will be responsible for
* Ensuring the smooth running of the daily Warehouse operation, enabling the required level of service to be provided to the customer at all times.
* Ensuring the receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of goods in the correct manner to agreed productivity levels and within budgetary constraints, whilst maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
