LSCFT are looking to recruit a full time Mental Health Service Manager for the Bay Network. The successful candidate would be expected to cover the Bay Locality with the option of being based in Lancaster, Kendal or Barrow in Furness. They will have a recognised core Mental Health Professional qualification (eg: RMN, SW, OT)
The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of Mental Health Acute and Urgent Care services within the Bay; their primary focus will be the Mental Health inpatient and flow pathway. They will ensure that service lines deliver patient pathways that meet all quality and operational performance targets and that these are monitored and tracked. The post holder will lead, develop and manage teams within their portfolio to ensure that the services provide high quality care to service users. There will be a strong focus on patient flow. They will be required to lead on change across the Bay

The post holder will be required to form effective working relationships internally by working collaboratively with other service managers of different multi-disciplinary teams alongside clinical colleagues. They will also work with system partners. Effective communication and interaction will be required with internal and external stakeholders such as commissioners and other service providers, both NHS and voluntary sector.
