Leading a nightshift team can be a rewarding experience, for the right person. Often, you get to run a full store operation on your own overnight, which means there can be a lot of responsibility and pressure. You'll be managing a team of colleagues to replenish the store overnight whilst also getting stuck in yourself to prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves, so that we're ready to serve our customers brilliantly come morning. People management is a big part of the role, managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate. To help support this lifestyle our nightshift managers work full-time hours over 4 days, as well as receiving a £4,500 premium on top of your base salary. The essential ingredients • Has held line management responsibilities in a fast-paced, operational environment • Has experience providing brilliant customer service, and coaching a team to do the same • Has experience delivering KPI's or other performance indicators • Has managed disciplinaries, performance issues or similar Employee relations issue • Has taken responsibility for leading an operation in the absence of more senior management How you can develop When joining us you will receive a clear induction and orientation alongside a training plan specific to your needs that you'll build alongside your manager.
