Job Description
As the High Containment Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers, ensuring that all work is planned, assigned, and directed in line with the organisation’s policies.
Your role will include appraising performance, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and completing all required reports to maintain high standards of service delivery.
In addition to your supervisory duties, you will be expected to uphold ISS policies that promote a safe, healthy, respectful, and non-discriminatory work environment.
Your leadership will be key in fostering a positive and productive atmosphere, ensuring that both team members and clients receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
* Responsibility for the Supervision and line management of your team of engineers in line with ISS policies and procedures
* Supervise and proactively manage your engineering team, to ensure full statutory and operational compliance is achieved in line with contract KPI’s
* Take full ownership of the hard services delivered to the containment buildings liaising with the DEFRA DgP-TS team as well as the APHA building officer to report defects and ensure no loss of service
* Manage all sub-contractors & maintenance activities in your portfolio in line with ISS QHSE policies and procedures with no loss to site science services
* Support the Client Awareness Audits (CAV) ensuring the compliance folders for your portfolio are up to date and populated as per the current process
* Supervise your team to drive best practice and high levels of service while understanding what motivates your team and what they need to succeed
* Plan and manage weekly workload for your team ensure all works are completed within SLA and that KPI performance targets are achieved
* Ensure good working knowledge of M&E plant within your buildings and understand the impact to customers operation including any safety critical scientific environment
* Ensure management of your team’s core competences and training plans are reviewed and kept up to date with current procedures
* Attend client/supplier meetings
* Actively participate in ISS performance management system and support the process for the FM team
* Actively participate and contribute to all team and management meetings
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 OR NVQ 2356 / 2357
* City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation
* AM1 and AM2
* City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2018) preferable with A2 amendment
In addition to the above mandatory requirements, applicants who have served a recognised apprenticeship and have the following will be preferred:
* City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Inspection & Testing (2394/5)
* Electrical to Mechanical conversion (EMC) desirable but not essential
* JIB Accredited
* IPAF / PASMA
* Full UK Driving License
* Significant experience in providing electrical building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing
* Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
