Job summary The Chest Medical outpatient service is a busy and varied service which provides a range of specialist medical clinics and nurse-led treatments and clinics at Hull Royal Infirmary, Castle Hill Hospital and East Riding Hospital. You will actively participate in the provision of a high quality, effective and efficient Outpatient service and play a pivotal role within the multidisciplinary team delivering a coordinated approach to patients across the Medical Outpatient Services at Hull Royal Infirmary which will include the Medical Outpatient clinic and the Chest Outpatient Clinic. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a dedicated team. It is desirable that you will have a good knowledge of respiratory and medical conditions, as you will be providing advice and support for patients undergoing a variety of specialist consultations and treatments. Main duties of the job The Registered Nurse will be directly responsible for the care of the patient attending the Medical and Chest Outpatient Services assisting in the management of patient flow through the services, providing care and support for adult patients across a range of speciality clinics and nurse led treatments and clinics.
