Purpose of the Position: The Electrical and Instrumental Technician is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and controlling specialized personnel involved in the maintenance activities of electrical and instrumental equipment, as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. The role includes ownership of the electrical and instrumental installation.
Salary & Benefits:
Competitive salary of £40,000 per annum plus a 6% annual STI.
Great working hours - Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Permanent position.
Group Personal Pension Plan: Company contributes 6% if the employee contributes at least 3% (minimum). Managed by Scottish Widows, mandatory for all employees under 65.

Sick Pay: As per contract.
Group Income Protection: Managed by Legal & General, covering 50% of salary if unable to work after 26 weeks due to sickness or accident, until retirement. The company covers the first 26 weeks at 100%, then gradually down to 70%.

Medical Insurance: Managed by AXA, open to employees aged 18+, covers dependents at the employee's cost, includes dental and optical care, and is a taxable benefit.
Key Responsibilities:
Revision and calibration of electrical and instrumental equipment/devices.
Maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
Management of medium and low voltage power cabins.
Adhering to company values, HR, and HS&E policies, instructions, minimum requirements, and guidelines.
Access to all switch boxes.
Interaction with all plant functions.
Interaction with external companies.
Knowledge and Educational Level:
Higher Technical Institute qualification.
Qualification for PES and PAV.
Required Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in a maintenance department.
3 to 5 years of experience in the electrical field.
