We are looking to recruit a part-time Cogitative Behavioural Therapist who has an excellent working knowledge and experience of assessment, formulation and delivery of structured psychological interventions within a mental health setting. You will ideally have prior experience of working with psychosis or a willingness to complete further training in working with psychosis would be essential. You will have a keen and driven interest in improving outcomes for individuals experiencing psychosis directed through your own knowledge base in Early Intervention. Main duties of the job As a CBT therapist you would be joining our existing countywide specialist psychology team offering structured therapeutic programmes in line with service user need and as part of a whole multi-disciplinary team care plan governed through CPA process. Your work would generally be completed on a 1:1 basis although therapeutic groupwork maybe offered as appropriate across the service. You will lead / contribute alongside your psychology colleagues to our staff clinical supervision schedule. You will be committed to ongoing service and clinical development inclusive of service user / carer involvement which will be paramount to ensure the effective implementation and sustained delivery of early intervention service protocols in line with National Clinical Institute of Excellence Quality Standards for EIP. In addition, traditionally the EIP National Community ethos has been to actively engage and work collaboratively towards research, innovation aimed at continuously improving overall outcomes for individuals and their families experiencing / at risk of psychosis.
