About the role
* Gain valuable knowledge and experience of
o how we develop the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) concepts for our future wind farms
o how tools and processes are used in the project management of infrastructure projects
o hands-on experience of Offshore Engineering and working on turbines, including necessary training to be allowed offshore
* Actively support the team e.g. with
o taking the lead of your own project, focused around the design and delivery of an O&M Infrastructure construction project
o developing strategy which will be used to deliver the infrastructure at future RWE wind farms around the world
Job requirements and experience
* You’re an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Project Management
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement
* On track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher
* Very good verbal and written communication skills
* Able to coordinate your own workload and meet tight deadlines
* Comfortable working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders
* Open to travel to other sites if needed (travel expenses covered)
* Motivation is crucial; your cover letter should explain your suitability for this opportunity and how it aligns with your studies & career plans
Advantageous, but not essential
* Trained or experienced in Infrastructure projects, Construction management, Project management, Infrastructure design/architecture, site-based work
