About the Role
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our successful Litigation team.
Based at our Stockton office, you will work in a collaborative and friendly team of experienced fee earners and secretaries. You will provide efficient secretarial support to a number of fee earners and your key duties will include:
1. Corresponding with clients
2. Typing audio dictation and other general typing work
3. Preparing bundles and other documents for court
4. Carrying out ID and anti-money laundering checks
5. Opening and updating client files on our practice management system (Proclaim)
6. Preparing client bills and completion statements

About You
The ideal candidate for this role will:
1. Have prior experience in a legal secretary role
2. Possess excellent IT and audio typing skills
3. Be able to prioritise and organise a busy workload
4. Have strong communication and client care skills
5. Be able to work well in a team and also independently
6. Enjoy working in a busy environment
7. Have a keen eye for detail and be able to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy
