Research Associate - Discovery Projects About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated research associate to join our Discovery Projects team at T-Therapeutics. The team is focused on harnessing the power of T cell biology in developing novel therapeutics for treating cancer. This an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced medicines that can impact the lives of patients around the world. In this role you will be responsible for: Generation of expression constructs using molecular cloning techniques Work with primary immune cell cultures and cell lines for various in vitro cell based assays Cell line engineering by making gene KO and overexpression Conduct In vitro and Ex vivo cell based assays to facilitate candidate drug selection Involvement in mouse model development and sample processing Multi-parameter flow cytometry panel set up and analysis Immuno-assay techniques such as ELISA and ELISpot Precise recording of daily laboratory work and Using software such as Excel, Prism, FlowJo and Geneious Prime DNA analysis software for data analysis and generation of high quality data for presentation About You BSc or MSc degree in a relevant area (e.g. Molecular and cellular biology or relevant discipline with experience in experimental research) Molecular biology expertise in construct designs and cloning Strong track record in cell culture and cell line engineering Cell biology experiences in T cell biology, hematologic cells or cancer cells is desirable Immuno-assay techniques such as ELISA, ELISpot, flow-based assays are desirable Experience in antibody discovery is desirable The ability to evaluate results and communicate findings with the team to achieve desired goals Proactive attitude and drive Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Attention to detail and ability to multi-task Capacity to troubleshoot Demonstrable organisational skills and good time management Company Benefits T-Therapeutics offers employees a wide range of benefits.
