Blue Cross is recruiting a Veterinary Support Administrator whose focus will be administering our Veterinary Care Fund & ensuring veterinary care is accessible for all.

More about the role
In 2023, the Blue Cross Veterinary Care Fund was launched to help owners and their pets who are struggling to afford veterinary care. In the current cost of living crisis, we recognise that more and more owners are struggling to afford and access routine vet care, let alone unexpected bills due to accidents or emergencies.
The fund works by vet practices registering with our scheme and is currently in high demand.
As a Veterinary Support Administrator, you’ll be joining our high performing Veterinary Support team that administrates and coordinates our Veterinary Care Fund.
Here's a glimpse into what your day might look like:
* Responding to internal & external telephone and email queries in a timely manner, whilst ensuring a high level of customer care at all times.
* Processing Veterinary Care Fund applications and hospital registrations
* Capturing and communicating client feedback and responding to complaints.
* Responding to requests from our partner Veterinary practices.
* Supporting the Veterinary Support Manager with annual audits of partner practices and clinics.
* Provide internal administrative support to the Veterinary Leadership team.

Knowledge, skills, and experience
* Demonstrable experience in a similar customer service/administrative office role
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel
* Excellent interpersonal and customer skills
* Experience of monitoring and maintaining records
* Diplomatic and sensitive with a proven ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
* The ability to demonstrate, understanding and apply our Blue Cross values
