Infection Prevention and Control Administrator
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated, experienced clerical worker to join the Infection Prevention and Control Team at the Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. Could this be you? You will work alongside the Infection Prevention and Control Specialist Nurses based at the Hospital, although the team covers the Trust community services too and the Rotherham Hospice.
The successful candidate will:
* Have a good general education
* Have experience in a health care setting
* Have well-developed communication skills
* Have well-developed organization skills
* Be able to work as part of a team but also have the ability to work alone when required.
Main duties of the job
* The organization and minutes of both planned and emergency meetings which accurately reflect the decisions made and support the governance process
* General office duties using telephone, emails, Microsoft Teams, storage of records, use of Excel and Word, laminating of signs, ordering of supplies and the maintenance of diaries along with sending timely accurate information to patients and GPs
* Supporting the importance of hand hygiene through organization of courses and undertaking observations of others
* Accurately and timely completion of mandated data submissions to the National UK Health Security Agency
* Liaising with all disciplines of colleagues across the Trust and external partners in public health, locally, regionally, and nationally

Qualifications
* GCSE/O Level English Language or equivalent
* RSA II typing or equivalent
* Information and Communication technology
Knowledge
* Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and proficiency with emails
* Working knowledge of NHS systems e.g. ICE, SystmOne, Meditech
Experience
* Experience of minute taking

£24,071 to £25,674 a year per annum, pro rata.
