We are currently expanding at a phenomenal rate – on the back of what is a record year and are looking for an outstanding individual to join our dedicated Head Office team, to help this division of the company to continue to flourish with providing marketing support.
This role will help these entrepreneurs create unique, inspiring and exciting experiences for their customers, find new customers, whilst building lasting personal relationships that bring them back to us, time and time again. To be the advocate and voice of PTCs in the wider business and functional areas.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a bright and innovative manager who can come on board and be part of our marketing team. Reporting into our current Hays Travel Marketing Manager you’ll have the amazing opportunity to reach your potential among some of the most talented people in travel.
Main Responsibilities
Deliver a marketing communications plan, training, and assets in collaboration with our creative, social, commercial teams and external suppliers. Audiences will be mostly consumers and PTCs and additionally the PTC recruitment campaigns. Working closely with the business development managers to ensure you are offering a comprehensive marketing strategy which meets the needs of our agents.
Marketing Campaigns
1. Create campaign and communication plans in line with business strategy and objectives meeting budgets
2. Collaborative working with the specialised marketing functions for inputs into marketing plans and lead nurturing tactics
3. Social – manage organic and paid posts, leading generation, distribution and budget
4. Email/CRM – create a process and plan for personalised communications to suit segments and re-engagement
5. Web – audit and develop new functionality in line with consumer demands and PTC requirements to drive business
6. Briefing and proofing creative and assets – ensuring this aligns with goals.
7. Understand key audiences and identify opportunities for marketing online and offline to drive more sales
8. Seeks ways to understand customer/market behaviour and sentiment; propose relevant content and tests
9. Owning the content provision and collation process including achieving supplier sign-off
10. Training and coaching marketing tactics
11. Developing our Marketing Handbook
Measurement & Analysis
1. Using a variety of tools and techniques to measure and analyse campaign and activity results, and preparing substantiated management information reports for all stakeholders
2. Working closely with the commercial team to feedback on campaign performance to our commercial sponsors and providing recommendations for future growth opportunities.
Summary of Key Attributes and Qualifications
1. Min. 2-4 years’ experience in a full-time employed marketing role
2. Lives within a commutable distance to our offices in Sunderland
3. A people person, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills and an outgoing personality; happy liaising with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
4. An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
5. Driven, passionate and enthusiastic – ready to roll sleeves up and get stuck in
6. The ability to problem-solve to achieve deadlines
7. Organised with exceptional attention to detail and a desire to achieve high standards
8. Enjoys working as part of a team yet capable of working proactively and autonomously
9. Able to multi-task and work under pressure, in an often-impatient environment with many priorities
10. Customer focused
11. Takes ownership of responsibilities and focuses on impact, delivery and achievement.

2. Sector experience of travel, leisure, or hospitality desirable
3. Previous regular use of marketing campaign management, social or email marketing tools desirable
