We are seeking a Catering and Bar Supervisor to join the Food Service and Catering Department at Leeds Conservatoire. This department plays a vital role in the student experience. What You Will Do
1. Assist the Catering and Bar Manager in the efficient operation of the catering service, adhering to service standards and financial regulations.
2. Ensure prompt and efficient customer service, consistently exceeding expectations.
3. Deputise for the Catering and Bar Manager in their absence.
4. Maintain a helpful attitude towards customers, acquire knowledge of food items, and keep service areas clean and stocked.
5. Carry out clerical activities related to daily catering controls, records, and paperwork, updating computer systems as directed.
6. Use an EPOS till for transactions.
7. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, including washing up and equipment cleaning.
8. Adhere to food safety requirements and complete due diligence records accurately.
About You
* Up-to-date knowledge of catering and hospitality.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment with supervisory experience in bar and/or catering.
* Experience using a till and handling cash and credit cards.
* Effective communication skills with team members and customers.
