Location: In-person at our partner locations across England. Locations are confirmed closer to programme start date January 2025. Possibility of some online tuition depending on location and available resources.
Hours: 2-20 hours per week for minimum 15 weeks
Salary: £18 an hour plus holiday pay

About Us:
Get Further are an award-winning charity that supports students from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop the skills they need to progress onto higher-level courses, apprenticeships, and into the workplace. We deliver tailored tuition for GCSE and Functional Skills, offering valuable extra support to help students secure gateway qualifications.
About the Role:
As a Maths or English Tutor, you will support students in further education or completing an apprenticeship to develop the skills they need to pass gateway qualifications and unlock opportunities.
Our Maths or English Tutors deliver a bespoke curriculum, fully-resourced and designed by expert teachers, with no lesson planning or preparation needed. Our tutors do this through in-person, small-group sessions of 1-3 students. Sessions are 1-1.5-hour blocks, typically held within working hours Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm.

About You:

Requirements:
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Minimum C grade in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Relevant A-level or equivalent qualification at grade B or above.
• Must either have obtained a minimum of 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree or be working towards one.
• Commitment to safeguarding and protecting student wellbeing.
