Summary Actemium UK has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Project Engineer, there is a requirement for work at our Daventry Workshop w ith a move to site (Norfolk area) to oversee the installation of various phases of pipework. The successful candidate will oversee piping installation and welding activities and ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Accountable for competently performing assigned project tasks without supervision. Work as a project team member or a member of the project personnel. May work in some fields as a specialist. Responsible for maintaining progress against agreed cost, schedule and quality parameters. Able to analyse, diagnose and use project management tools and professional judgement to resolve discreet problems at a project level. Work to the project interface document to maintain the alignment of client and Petrofac processes during the project lifecycle. Maintain communication with Engineering, Construction and Commissioning leads where necessary within the project element. Support the risk management process during the project. Support the management of change process during the project. Work to the Project Execution Plan, ensuring compliance and assurance of delivery against the PEP objectives. Play an active role in supporting Actemium drive to digitally enhance delivery methods. Follow the Actemium Project Management Process in the management and discharge of Project activities. Identifying, implementing and complying with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements Support the Project Manager with day-to-day activities required to deliver work in line with the project plan including safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives. Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including Quality Plans and other documents as required. Ensure production of technical specifications and support the process of contractor selection and contract placement. Review technical documentation including contractor’s documents and drawings. Ensure technical queries are managed in accordance with processes and procedures. Carry out technical appraisals of project options. Perform feasibility studies, site surveys and liaison with designers and station engineering staff as required. Prepare engineering changes and manage the preparation of supporting and affected documents. Suitable relevant technical experience including the preparation of technical documentation, the review and approval of technical proposals and procedures, experience of construction, testing and commissioning activities. Experience of Engineering in a project and operational environment. Proven experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager. SMSTS (preferred). CCNSG & or NEEBOSH/IOSH. HND or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline is desired but not essential.
