Job Introduction: We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Service Delivery Manager to manage the Facilities Management service offer at the University of Greenwich and Medway Campus in Kent.
You will be responsible for all Sodexo’s service delivery on campus including the Maintenance Programmes and PPM work and will ensure that all repair and planned maintenance tasks are completed on time and that the work carried out is complete to exact standard as detailed in the SLA.
The ideal candidate must be available to respond to out of normal hours emergency situations and work to an On Call roster.
What you’ll do:
1. Management and monitoring of all self-delivery and subcontractors
2. To ensure that SLA’s and KPI’s are being delivered to the required contract standard
3. To conduct contractual and ad-hoc auditing and monitoring of all services delivered at campus to ensure required standards and internal compliance levels are being met
4. To produce accurate, timely and relevant information to ensure all internal and client reporting is completed within contractual timescales
5. Management of subcontractors and Sodexo self-delivery for Hard FM and reactive maintenance
6. Management of Sodexo site services team
7. Build solid relationship with the client and other stakeholders
8. Attend meetings with stakeholders to monitor and improve service delivery
What you bring:
Essential:
1. Previous experience of management of FM teams and contractors
2. Demonstrable experience and/or qualification in building services
3. Ability to lead and influence change
4. Ability to interpret and utilise financial and commercial information
5. Customer-facing attitude and excellent team building and people management skills
6. Excellent communication skills with the mental agility to ‘think on feet’ and provide convincing practical solutions
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
8. Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment
9. Intelligent approach to performance monitoring including relevant experience and use of CAFM systems
10. Resilience when dealing with difficult and challenging people and complex situations
11. Proficient IT skills, including Excel, Word & Microsoft Office
12. Hold a minimum of a current IOSH or equivalent H&S certification
Desirable:
1. Technical Expertise / Working understanding of Hard FM
2. Previous Building Management or Facilities Management Experience
3. NEBOSH qualified
