We are working with numerous homeless charities which are regularly looking for Project Workers to cover on a temporary basis.
Pay: £14.00 + holiday pay = £15.69 or £18 umbrella per hour
As a Project Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Your duties will include:
1. Conducting assessments
2. Carrying out support plans
3. Delivering one-to-one sessions
4. Completing tasks on handover notes and ensuring they are up to date
5. Assisting with clients' care plans alongside key workers and other members of staff
6. Shadowing clients to their appointments
7. May involve some light cleaning duties to ensure the hostel meets health and safety standards
Experience managing a case load is essential.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate their ability to:
1. Work independently
2. Prioritise tasks
3. Manage their workload effectively
4. Be proactive
You should be a compassionate and empathetic individual who can build positive relationships with clients and work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies. Previous experience working with dual diagnosis is vital. Basic IT skills are required to complete handover notes.
Note: Some clients may have pets, mostly dogs, but all have had a risk assessment.
