About the role: As a Coordinator you will manage the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) process, including receiving and screening referrals, coordinating assessments, and ensuring timely payments for assessors. The role involves providing administrative support to the DoLS service, maintaining accurate records, and working with external agencies to ensure compliance with legislative frameworks. Key responsibilities: Receive and screen DoLS referrals and coordinate assessments for Best Interest and Mental Health Assessors. Forecast workloads and ensure timely payments to assessors. Provide administrative support, maintain records, and ensure accurate internal and external reporting. Liaise with external agencies, Senior DoLS Professionals, and designated signatories for authorisations. Produce and manage data reports, support meetings, and deliver customer advice. Ensure DoLS processes comply with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and ADASS protocols.
