We are exploring apetito's rich data assets with the exciting new technologies and tools that are now available and identifying new opportunities to deliver superior customer satisfaction and to grow the business. You be a part of the Data and Analytics team, a fantastic, close-knit team that is working on strategic data analysis and business intelligence projects across our businesses in UK, Ireland, and North American in both B2C and B2B businesses. As a core member of the data analytics team you would work on strategic data analysis and business intelligence projects that enable effective decision making within the organisation. You will also participate in the exploration into the rich data assets apetito has in each market to identify new opportunities, to deliver superior customer satisfaction and to grow the business. The role offers you an opportunity to have direct responsibility, from day one, to lead data analytics projects that influence the strategy for the business. You will work on diverse data sets across geographies (we support UK, Ireland, and North America) and across B2C and B2B businesses. You will learn and work on exciting technologies and tools like the SQL, Python, Emarsys, Azure Cloud, DataBricks, Tableau, PowerBI, Machine learning and AI to name a few. You will also hone your skills by applying them to real-life situations, learn, test, and apply emergent technologies and tools and work in a fantastic, closely knit team that is bringing data-centricity to apetito. This role has a clear requirement to be in the office for 3 days per week you will need to live within or be willing to relocate to a reasonable commutable distance from our Trowbridge Head Office to be considered for this role. Responsibilities Analysing customer behaviour, product purchase patterns, customer interactions and business processes to help develop strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and to improve customer acquisition, retention, and revenue. Work with your Marketing, Product Management, Operations and CRM colleagues and our Franchisees, providing analytical consultancy and championing the understanding and adoption of data insights. Work with large datasets both internal and external - creating queries and analysis directly off the customer database. This would involve developing a wide toolkit, including predictive analytics, SQL, Python, R and PowerBI etc. and you would be expected to quickly learn and apply the latest tools that become available. Presentations to senior management team. Build your understanding of our products and systems and to build strong relationships with the stakeholders across the business. About you You have a degree in Business Analytics/ Business management/ Mathematics/ Statistics/Computer Science/ Engineering/sciences related discipline. Coding experience is essential - you need to evidence that you have learnt coding in SQL, Python or R Prior experience in a Data Analysis role is not essential but relevant work experience (analytics/data/computer programming) will be an essential. Essential skills: Very numerate and have an enquiring mindset, an aptitude to problem solving and a keen desire to learn new tools and technologies. Bbring a collaborative approach to team work and a drive to reach out and work across the business to create new opportunities. As a change catalyst, you will bring a combination of enthusiasm, a Can-do approach, a strong sense of ownership and a keen focus on detail You will often present your ideas to the senior management so excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior managers are vital.
