The role:
As a Lead Commissioning Engineer, you will direct a team in the delivery of work and ensure activities are delivered in line with the established Start Up, Commissioning, and Pre-Operations processes. This includes developing and executing delivery plans in line with project schedules, reviewing and reporting on work progress, and taking corrective actions where necessary. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate regularly with other teams in your project, as well as external vendors and stakeholders.
The ideal person:
You will have an HNC or equivalent Level 4 qualification in a relevant discipline, along with experience of leading and/or supervising a team in a technical/engineering environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in Nuclear or a highly regulated environment is desirable, but we welcome candidates with relevant skills and experience from other sectors.
