Talent Acquisition Specialist - North Europe COE

We are currently recruiting in our Technical Support Services Team for an IT Support Engineer. Our successful candidate will work within a technical support team of level 2.5 IT engineers.
At DP World we operate across various European locations to support in excess of 250 sites with a focus on the full range of standard hardware and software across the business. The team will at times provide support for day-to-day activities, new business launches, and project activities, as well as dealing with product lifecycle refresh and deployment across the business. The team's primary objective is to ensure maximum value is obtained from our application and hardware estate, whilst also ensuring the team is proactive in looking at emerging technologies and applications.
The role requires a high level of technical ability and a particular focus on migrating multiple business units to a new singular domain within the EMEA region. This role will require high levels of travel within the region; at times 100% of working hours will be spent on-site in order to efficiently perform work on this project. You will be expected to productively and efficiently organise your time, workload, and travel plans, submitting expense reports within policy and on time.
In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also need to work closely with the other infrastructure management teams to ensure seamless rollout of new solutions and implementation of the standards they define.
Location: Office based in the Midlands, with 50% need to travel to surrounding sites and Europe
Hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week

How you will contribute
Maintain and inform
* Proactively monitor the security position of DP World assets
* Provide concise and accurate regular reporting on patch levels, operating system versions, and third-party software updates
* Maintain awareness of current threats and vulnerabilities and highlight potential areas for improvement
Support
* Carry out work and implement standards as established by the System and Network Engineering Teams regarding planning and supporting the plants in the areas of Desktop, WAN, LAN, Servers, and Disaster Recovery
* Provide second-level diagnostic support along with the System and Network Engineering Teams and the Service Desk in supporting the plants as it relates to Desktops, WAN, LAN, and Servers
Projects and Launches
* Provide onsite support for new site launches when required
* Provide onsite support for server/network refreshes
* Support other projects as required
* Provide resources and individual support to project teams for critical DP World group projects
Site level standards and interaction
* Clearly communicate requirements across the team on expectations around site level standards ensuring compliance and reporting issues so they can be tracked and resolved.
* Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, communicating IT activities and issues happening at their site, respecting local customs and governance.
What you will bring
EXPERIENCE
* Minimum three years’ experience working in a time-bound complex IT support environment.
* Experience of international travel and working alongside individuals from a variety of backgrounds and multiple nationalities.
* Awareness of infrastructure technologies; Azure, Virtualisation, Office 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Web Forwarding Proxying.
* Experience with domain controllers, user/group management, and security policies in a Windows Server environment.
* Knowledge of DNS setup and troubleshooting across different platforms, including A records, CNAME records, MX records, and TTL settings.
* Experience with domain migration tools such as Microsoft's ADMT (Active Directory Migration Tool), PowerShell scripting, or third-party migration solutions is desirable.
* Understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, VPN configurations, and troubleshooting networking issues during migration.
* Experience migrating between domains or between on-premises and cloud environments.
* Experience with legacy infrastructure that may need special attention during migration (e.g., old applications and networks).
* Experience in managing and documenting changes during the migration to ensure compliance with organisational policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Tanium Certified Operator qualification is desirable, but not essential.
