Access and Information Assistant (closing date: 03/02/25)
£27,269 - £30,060 pro rata per year. (Permanent). An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Common Access Point for 1 x part time (29.6hrs).
The Common Access Point is the first point of contact within Adult Services. The role of the Access and Information Assistants is providing information, advice, and assistance to the Citizens of Swansea. The role will involve answering telephone calls and email/online enquiries, working in a preventative way to signpost to appropriate community services and creating referrals using WCCIS.
The Common Access Point also has a Multi-Disciplinary Team presently made up of Social Workers, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists.
The role includes working with individuals, families, groups, and communities to enable optimum outcomes to promote independence and social inclusion.
Our approach in the team follows the Principles of the Social Services and Well Being Act (Wales) 2014, which focuses on working with people, in partnership, to meet the client's needs and to stop issues from escalating.
