Job Description Ultra Precision Control Systems are looking for a HR Business Partner to join the HR Team. The HR Business Partner will work to build and maintain partnering relationship with key stakeholders and people leaders, to assist with the pro-active delivery of the business and people strategies. They will provide commercially focused advice and support to people leaders in all aspects of the employee life cycle including; recruitment, performance management, employee relations, talent management, engagement and well-being. They will effectively plan and deliver people related projects in line with business needs and objectives. Key Responsibilities: Effectively develop and maintain meaningful partnering relationships with key stakeholders and people leaders to gain trust and positively influence decisions and initiatives Provide a wide-ranging and commercially focused HR Business Partnering service to people leaders in a specified client group, ensuring they have the necessary tools and capability to professionally manage themselves and their employees Build management capability through coaching and challenging on people management decisions Create solutions to people issues that enable stakeholders to better meet their commercial objectives Implement, maintain and advocate for HR policies to deliver business goals, ensuring the appropriate legislation is adhered to Advise on HR legal and employee relations matters to ensure consistency, legal compliance and risk mitigation Plan and implement HR initiatives and projects aligned to the HR and Business strategies Use key people analytics to identify potential issues, find trends, inform decisions and make recommendations to key stakeholders Partner with Talent Acquisition to drive recruitment to attract, develop and retain talent and build a pipeline for key positions Manage the full employee lifecycle through the HRIS ensuring the accuracy of data Assist in the delivery of meaningful onboarding experiences to new employees Identify critical roles and develop succession strategies, nurturing high-potential employee through career development and training initiatives Effectively manage employee information in line with GDPR Liaise with the Employee Council when required Required Skills and Experience: Experienced HR Business Partner, ideally supported by CIPD level 7 Experience in a generalist HR role with a business partner approach Proven background in adding value and improving efficiencies Excellent knowledge of UK employment law Experience using Workday is advantageous Experience working in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment Specific experience in the Learning and Development discipline would be desirable Confident influencer and communicator Motivated by results and strives to exceed expectations High energy, creative and resourceful self-starter Has a flexible approach to meet the changing demands of the business Team player, receptive to ideas Proactive “can do” approach to problem solving Excellent written and spoken English is essential Good networking skills Willing to travel on occasion Security Clearance: Candidates must be able to achieve SC security clearance Benefits: Every employee is critical to our success and as such we offer a range of flexible employee benefits along with career development opportunities.
