A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a reputable and successful dealer of specialist equipment to the agricultural and construction sectors.
The role will be based at their site in Leicester and will be on a full time, permanent basis.
The main purpose of this role is to provide support to the Accounts Supervisor and Finance Director in meeting the requirements of the Finance Department and the business as a whole and to seek and identify areas for continuous improvement through creativity and flexibility.
The Accounts Assistant will provide support for the following tasks:
1. Invoice processing.
2. Credit control.
3. VAT reviews.
4. Cash book maintenance and cash posting.
5. Reporting.
6. Accounts preparation.
7. Raising sales invoices.
8. Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
9. Liaising and supporting internal colleagues with income related queries.
10. Ad-hoc tasks and financial projects as required including Reception cover when necessary.
What qualities our client is seeking:
1. Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
2. A high level of accuracy and will undertake tasks with an analytical approach.
3. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary for this opportunity is £24k plus you will receive 22 days holiday plus bank holidays + 1 day for every 5 years completed service, there is free on-site parking for ease of commute, contributory medical insurance scheme and more.
