Position: Passive Fire Engineer
Location: Ideally Midlands based, with UK wide travel.
Company: Marlowe Fire & Security, a specialist within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, is seeking a skilled Passive Fire Engineer to join their team.
Salary: £27-32,000

Responsibilities:
As a Passive Fire Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Installing components and systems that slow down and/or inhibit the spread of fire or smoke.
2. Working on floor-ceilings and roofs, fire doors, windows, wall assemblies, fire-resistant coatings, and other fire and smoke control assemblies.
3. Installing and supervising Passive Fire Installations according to the latest British and EN standards on projects of varying sizes.
4. Ensuring Fire Stopping installations adhere to current industrial standards.
5. Ensuring projects are delivered on time.
6. Providing technical expertise and supporting risk assessments and method statements.
7. Delivering regular updates through reporting programs.
Requirements:
Who we're looking for: Marlowe Fire & Security considers our people our greatest asset. We seek candidates who:
1. Have at least 3 years of experience as a Passive Fire Engineer.
2. Hold a minimum GNVQ Level 2 qualification in Fire Stopping.
3. Are familiar with British Standards and EN regulations.
4. Exhibit self-motivation and flexibility, with the ability to work away from home when required.
5. Possess excellent communication skills and work effectively as part of a team.
