Circet UK are hiring a HSEQ Advisor for our Home Installations team to support our various projects and meet the requirements of the Safety Quality and Environment Management systems.
To oversee, monitor and evaluate the operation of HSEQT performance across the UK, working with senior management as appropriate.
Ensuring compliance with HSEQT statutory duties is achieved and reporting to management on the performance of the management systems and any need for improvement.
They will collaboratively work with and positively influence employees and contractors to drive a positive HSEQ culture and continual improvement across the organisation.
Key responsibilities as HSEQT Advisor include:
1. Ensuring compliance with HSEQT statutory duties is achieved.
2. Reporting to management on the performance of the management systems and any need for improvement.
3. Ensuring the promotion and awareness of customer requirements throughout the organisation.
4. Supporting the delivery of the HSEQT strategy for Circet and assisting in achieving continuous improvement in HSEQT performance across all parts of the company.
5. Providing assurance to the HSEQT Manager by means of appropriate monitoring and intervention that operations fulfil their obligations under HSEQT legislation.
6. Supporting the development of Circet culture as the organisation rapidly expands and changes.
7. Overseeing, monitoring and evaluating the operation of HSEQT performance across the region, working with senior management as appropriate.
8. Ensuring that all worksites are fully compliant with legal HSEQT obligations.
9. Ensuring continual improvement and developing, in conjunction with the HSEQT Manager, HSEQT targets, objectives and KPI’s.
10. Approval, monitoring and reviewing of all employee and sub-contractor works.
11. Ensuring records of incidents are maintained and investigations undertaken to establish the root causes and that controls are in place to avoid a reoccurrence.
12. Driving continuous improvement and implementing initiatives to promote best practice at all times.
Skills & Experience required:
1. Degree qualified or equivalent. Nice to have.
2. Extensive experience within a civil engineering or telecommunications environment.
3. Effective communication and reporting skills.
4. Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines.
5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.
6. A passion for Health, Safety, Environment & Quality.
7. Travel required to sites in and around the UK.
