About the role
Hale Country Club & Spa is recruiting for a full-time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. We are looking for individuals with a passion for food and beverage, ready to deliver exceptional service and enhance the dining experience for our esteemed members and guests.
Responsibilities
* Work in all areas of Food & Beverage, including Bar, Restaurant, and Outdoor Terrace.
* Welcome members and guests in a polite and friendly manner.
* Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service.
* Prepare setups for tables.
* Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
* Up-sell with the latest departmental incentives.
* Ensure compliance with brand standards.
* Ensure cleanliness of work areas.
* Comply with club security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
* Comply with local licensing laws.
* Be environmentally aware.
* Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
Requirements
* Ideally, 1 year of experience working in a hospitality environment.
* Flexibility in availability and adapting to shift patterns as needed.
* Enthusiasm for working in a team environment.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service.
* Strong team-working skills, contributing to collaborative success.
* Self-motivation, with the ability to work proactively and independently when needed.
* Good people skills, building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced working environment.
* Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality service.
