Venue Administration Officer Location: Lewes Job Type: 3 months Salary: £11.44 We are seeking a dedicated Venue Administration Officer to ensure the efficient operation of three key venues. This role is pivotal in providing administrative support, managing bookings, and ensuring excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be central to maintaining effective systems and supporting the activities. Day-to-day of the role: Administrative Support: Manage day-to-day administration tasks such as maintaining booking systems, processing invoices, and managing records. Update electronic filing systems for accurate record-keeping and assist in producing various documents. Venue Bookings and Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for enquiries, providing guidance on booking procedures and terms of use. Coordinate bookings and communicate necessary information to stakeholders. Event Coordination Support: Assist in planning and preparing venues for events, including liaising with external contractors and suppliers. Health and Safety Compliance: Help ensure venues comply with health and safety regulations, maintain risk assessments, and ensure venues are safe and presentable. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Venue Manager and other team members, liaise with community groups and local businesses, and promote venues through various channels. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: At least 18 months in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within a venue or events setting. Education: Minimum of 3 GCSEs grade A - C (including English and Maths). A Levels or equivalent is desirable. Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills, high level of accuracy, proficiency in Microsoft 365, and ability to work independently. Knowledge: Basic understanding of health and safety requirements, familiarity with financial processes, and proficiency in using social media for promotional purposes.
