Position: Account Manager
Location: West Sussex

My client's continued expansion and following significant investment in the business, they are looking to recruit an experienced account manager to join their growing team.
You will ideally come from a print and direct mail background, and to succeed in this role, you must be organised, efficient, have excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment to ensure their customer’s high standards & needs are always met.
The Role:
1. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients on a regular basis, ensuring meaningful and timely communication.
2. Work with clients in a proactive, consultative manner, delivering advice and solutions to their problems.
3. Interpret clients' specifications and provide quotations in a timely manner or against pre-agreed SLA's.
4. Use an MIS system to accurately create works instructions, briefing internal teams and owning the projects from start to finish to ensure they are delivered on time and to budget.
5. Liaise with multiple suppliers to source project-related collateral, which involves requesting quotes, raising PO’s, and placing orders.
6. Accurately invoice all projects being managed.
7. Handle customer queries/complaints in a timely manner.
8. Ensure any client or in-house monthly SLA’s & KPI’s are achieved.
9. Attend meetings with internal teams and clients as required.
10. Provide cover for other members of the client services team.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an account manager with a sound knowledge of the print / direct mail industry.
2. Client focused.
3. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret client specifications, briefs & artwork.
4. Knowledge of postal services & DSA providers (beneficial).
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure.
7. Good IT and computer skills.
