Nurse Disability Assessor Role
Location: Penzance - Hybrid (mixture of remote and on-site working)
Salary: £39,500 per annum

As a Disability Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments with individuals who have varied physical and/or mental health conditions and are seeking the PIP benefit scheme. An in-depth training programme is provided, ensuring you feel fully equipped for this new role. Additionally, this position contributes to your clinical hours, allowing you to maintain and uphold your registration.

Your key responsibilities as a Disability Assessor will be:
Conducting Assessments: Utilising your clinical experience to work with people who have diverse health conditions, gaining a clear understanding of how their challenges affect their daily life.
Interpreting Medical Evidence: Gathering your findings into a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Qualifications and Experience: NMC registration is required, at least 1 year's broad-based post-registration experience, and UK experience is essential.
Skills and Abilities: Proactive, keen to learn, receptive to feedback, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work autonomously, and I.T competency.
