The Role: As a Recycling Operative, you will play a vital part in ensuring waste management procedures are followed, cleanliness is upheld, and strict health and safety standards are maintained. The role involves repetitive tasks and periods of standing, so a good level of physical fitness is beneficial. This is not a customer-facing position. You will work on the picking line, sorting waste and recyclable materials. While prior experience in a similar role is helpful, it is not required. Your responsibilities will include; maintaining plant equipment to support the smooth operation of the picking line, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency across the site, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of our recycling processes.
