Kenton Black Finance are delighted to represent this successful and friendly professional business in the Chester area, who due to exciting developments are now seeking to appoint a capable, confident Payroll and Office Administrator to work within a small and stable payroll bureau team. If you are ambitious and looking for a new challenge then this is for you! This is a full end to end role looking after your own payrolls building strong client relationships whilst processing the necessary payrolls at various payroll intervals. In addition, this role offers the variety of undertaking additional office administration duties. This role would suit someone keen to develop their payroll career to the next level with either inhouse or accountancy bureau experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll processing end to end for both weekly, fortnightly, monthly and 4 weekly payrolls responsible for your own payrolls
2. Processing of BACS payments
3. Dealing with auto enrolment pension processing (i.e. Nest etc)
4. RTI filing
5. Dealing with SMP/SSP
6. P45/P46 processing
7. Dealing with queries and providing services advice
8. Software knowledge of Brightpay & Iris (desirable, not essential, training provided)
Person Specification
1. Payroll processing end to end undertaking weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
2. Ability to pick up new systems and processes efficiently and with ease
3. Proactive and innovative approach to resolving queries
4. Confident and friendly communication/telephone manner
5. Previous experience within a similar role.
The successful candidate will possess strong Payroll processing skills, running payrolls from end to end. In addition, will possess a friendly and confident telephone manner, able to deal with payroll enquiries/queries effectively providing advice.
Package
c£24K + 5 weeks hols + pension + CIPP Support + Parking permit
