Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Service Engineer required to join a leading global Engineering Manufacturer The successful Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / ServiceEngineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on high-pressure jetting equipment, water jet cutting machines, pumps, valves, and associated systems in a site-based role, with only occasional travel to customer sites. Full product training will be provided. The Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Service Engineer will ideally have a background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering working with systems such as water jet machines, pumps, valves, hydraulics, compressed air, filtration, automation, conveyors, generators, cutting tools, industrial capital equipment or similar. Package £35,000£40,000 Depending on experience 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension Tablet & tools insurance Mobile phone Additional company benefits Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Service Engineer Role Carry out electrical and mechanical service, repair, and maintenance of water jet cutting machines, pumps, jet washers, and related systems in a workshop-based environment. Perform planned and preventative maintenance, diagnostics, fault-finding, and breakdown support on high-pressure water systems, filtration units, control panels, conveyors, and automation equipment. Install and commission new jetting and cutting machinery on-site, with occasional travel to customer locations. Identify and advise customers on potential system improvements, upgrades, and aftercare support. Maintain detailed service records and liaise with internal engineering and customer service teams to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction. Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Service Engineer Requirements Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in complex mechanical/electrical systems. Experience as a Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Installation Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer or similar. Previous work with water jet cutting systems, jet washing equipment, pumps, valves, compressed air, hydraulics, filtration, automation, or similar capital equipment is highly advantageous. Good knowledge of three-phase electrics and control systems is a bonus. Knowledge of fixing car engines and garage equipment is also of interest. Engineering apprenticeship or technical qualification preferred but not essential. Site-based role with occasional travel.
