We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join a thriving secondary school in Sutton. This full-time, permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of the SEN team, working alongside passionate professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of students with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
* Provide targeted speech and language therapy for students with SLCN.
* Collaborate with educators to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom.
* Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and contribute to IEPs and annual reviews.
* Support a Specialist Resourced Provision for students with language disorders.
* Participate in outreach work with other schools, as needed.
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and HCPC.
* Holds a degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy recognized by the RCSLT.
* Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
* Experience working with parents, carers, and educational professionals.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and supporting students’ welfare.
