The post involves working across a wide range of mental health urgent care services providing senior operational management and leadership. Crucially, the post involves working with a number of system partners (acute Trust, Police, Ambulance, 3rd sector) and the postholder will be skilled in forming and maintaining effective working relations across the local system and beyond. The post will suit an innovate and creative thinker who can continually identify opportunities for service development, efficiency and improvement, involving service users and other stakeholders at each step. Mental health urgent care continues to be an area of significant growth and expansion with genuine opportunity for the post holder to influence (in conjunction with others) the shape and quality of the overall service offer. Main duties of the job Operational Management and leadership of all Mental Health urgent care services Liaison and proactive development/improvement work with partner agencies Oversight of key governance and operational tasks (quality, safety, HR/workforce, finance, data, performance, estate, EPRR) The post holder must have a postgraduate qualification in a relevant management and/or leadership qualification or comparable and demonstrable experience Service development and quality improvement; change management Service user involvement and co-production Line management of Managers and teams Collaborative working with other managers, key departmental leads and clinical/professional leads from within the Trust and external to the Trust About us We may close the advert early, if we receive a sufficient number of applicants, so please apply as soon as possible.
