We are looking to recruit a specialist or highly specialist applied psychologist to join the Harrogate Integrated Community Team that provides support and intervention for working age adults experiencing mental health difficulties.
We welcome applications from existing Band 8a or Band 7 Applied Psychologists as well as newly qualified Applied Psychologists due to qualify within the next 6 months. A successful candidate taking up the post at Band 7 will be provided with clinical/professional and managerial supervision and developmental support to help them to progress from Band 7 to Band 8a, according to a clear set of criteria. A commitment to undertake training to gain competencies to deliver an evidence based therapy in scope for the Psychological Therapies for Severe Mental Health Problems PTSMHP programme is required. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will join an established Psychological Professions team within the community multidisciplinary service. They will contribute to the delivery of psychological assessment, formulation and evidence based intervention. They will provide supervision and consultation to Psychological Professions and multidisciplinary colleagues and contribute to the collective leadership of the service.

Accountable for own professional practice in the delivery of specialist psychological care to clients with complex mental health conditions or learning disabilities which may include challenging behaviours.
