Job Description Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Team Leader will have responsibility for the production operations and quality standards in the manufacturing of timber frame kits.
Team Leaders w ill play a key part within the production process of the Timber Frame and Roof Trusses ensuring the build of pre-cut timber into various panels, gables, and trusses.
Candidates must be willing to work on a 3 shift pattern (DS 7am-3:15pm, BS 3pm-11:15pm and NS 11pm-7:15am).
38.75 hours per week, 5 days per week (overtime available) Competitive rate plus shift allowance Key Tasks Timber Frame Production Ensure quality control systems and checks are applied Direct responsibility for people management of the team recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management Drive a culture of continuous improvement amongst the team Responsible for health, safety, and wellbeing of personnel Ensure documentation relating to timber frame production and loading is accurate Manage overtime, timekeeping, and attendance of the team Liaise with maintenance to ensure tasks are completed Maximise throughput of all material in an efficient manner Skills Profile Experience of timber frame manufacturing Strong analytic/problem-solving skills.
