We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in St. Helen's. Key Responsibilities: Support individual students and small groups with a variety of needs, including learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and autism spectrum conditions. Assist in the preparation and implementation of tailored lesson plans and learning materials. Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Collaborate with educators, parents, and external professionals to address the needs of students. Encourage positive behaviour and social skills among students. Help with personal care and mobility needs, where required. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or special needs (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning). Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and a patient, understanding demeanor.
