Working as part of a dynamic and outcome-focused team, you will support and facilitate the delivery of Quilter’s strategic transformation agenda. You will be a key member of the Quilter Executive and their teams in developing and delivering the next phase of their strategy.
Our Transformation Lead’s (TL’s) responsibilities evolve and flex over time in line with the contents of the Portfolio; however, the generic responsibilities remain the same. You will be supporting on the Central Function and Finance Transformation. Key responsibilities include:
* Work closely with Senior Finance leadership to identify current gaps for improvement within existing processes and support the design of improvements through automation, technology, or new process maps.
* Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders, including the Quilter executive committee members and their teams, to lead the analysis and scoping of further business simplification opportunities.
* Support business teams in the planning, mobilisation, and delivery of initiatives within the overall transformation portfolio.
* Partner with HR/OD Implementation and Finance colleagues on all initiatives to manage/assess People and Financial impacts of proposed simplification activity.
* Ensure appropriate tracking is in place across the transformation initiatives, and work with functional/business unit executives and the Head of Transformation Delivery to escalate and resolve obstacles to successful delivery and achievement of transformation objectives.
* Identify drivers for successful delivery and achievement of outcomes for the portfolio and ensure these drivers are in place and operating effectively, e.g., appropriate resourcing, stakeholder engagement, etc.
* Identify and proactively manage interdependencies with other transformation initiatives, both within your portfolio and across other portfolios.
* Clearly identify risks to the successful delivery and achievement of outcomes, put mitigating plans in place, and track them on an ongoing basis.
* Support functional/business executives and teams with additional analysis to enable identification of opportunities and management of execution or outcome risk, including business analysis, portfolio analysis, and scheduling/alignment opportunities.
* Be a role model for the behaviours that are critical to the successful delivery of Quilter’s transformation objectives, including proactivity, delivery and outcome orientation, outward (rather than internal) focus, driving for simplicity/avoiding bureaucracy, and teamwork.
* Support the effective and regular reporting of progress to the relevant functional/business executives and the Quilter Executive Committee.
* Identify opportunities where external support may be beneficial to Quilter to maximise transformation outcomes or mitigate risk.
* Support the Head of Transformation Delivery on other initiatives that form part of the Strategy and Transformation Director’s agenda, as needed. This may involve analysis, design, coordination of organisational activity, or delivery.
About You

* Demonstrable hands-on experience in delivering multiple Finance Transformation agendas, ideally within Wealth Management.
* Knowledge and experience of finance process design, with an understanding of what “good” looks like.
* Working knowledge of major ERP technologies such as Workday.
* Deep understanding of the operating model of a finance function including systems, data, processes, controls, and governance.
* Ability and intuition to link strategy to organisational activity.
* Innovative, creative thinker, challenging assumptions to find novel solutions while also having high levels of emotional intelligence.
* Strong background in business and/or project delivery with the ability to show initiative to drive progress.
* Significant knowledge of and demonstrable experience in enabling delivery in complex stakeholder environments.
* Strong understanding of Quilter’s business, products, and processes.
