Job Title: Social Worker – Assessment I&A Team Location: Bridgend Rate: £38.50 per hour Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Assessment I&A Team based in Bridgend. What will my responsibilities be? In this role, you will deliver high-quality social work practice to achieve the best possible outcomes and progress for children and young people in need of social work support, assessment, and intervention. You will demonstrate a high standard of systemic practice, providing support and co-working with less experienced team members, while modelling and helping others develop key elements of systemic practice. You will manage high levels of risk and complexity in casework, handling a complex caseload with robust analysis and focused, purposeful practice. Additionally, you will contribute to routine quality assurance work, including case audits, observation of practice, and gathering child and family feedback. Supporting the Team Manager, you will be involved in team development work and co-working complex cases with less experienced team members. Your strong assessment skills will enable you to consistently deliver high-standard written reports, including court reports. You will also provide support and informal supervision to other team members, enhancing the formal supervision provided by the Team Manager. Finally, you will prepare work and support others in preparing work for formal meetings and processes, such as Case Conference Meetings, Looked After Children Reviews, and key Decision Making Panels.
