Deputy Head Teacher

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly committed Deputy Head teacher to work in partnership with the Head teacher to provide reflective, dynamic and forward thinking leadership with a shared vision in our school.
Simonside Primary is a ‘Good’ school, for children from Reception to Year 6, where ‘There is an infectious sense of happiness and community’, as well as embedding ‘the personal development programme with care across the whole curriculum’. (Ofsted November 2023)
We are looking to appoint a Deputy Head who has:
1. extensive experience of effective monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning with the ability to inspire, implement change, and to challenge
2. experience of having used successful strategies, research and best practice for planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating school improvement
3. excellent motivational, communication and interpersonal skills with a team approach to school leadership
4. the ability to lead, manage and organise an effective curriculum
5. high expectations for all children, staff, families and Governors
6. thorough knowledge of safeguarding procedures
7. an absolute commitment to being involved in the wider school community

* Thursday 12 December between 1pm and 3pm
