Are you currently working as a Support Worker within a Supported Living or Mental Health setting? Do you want to take the next steps in your career? Radis Community Care is actively recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Reading Supported Living Service.
What will you be doing as a Team Leader?
As a Team Leader, you will be working alongside the office team to ensure that the service runs smoothly and that we provide an excellent standard of care to all residents within the service. You will ensure that Support Plans, Risk Assessments, MAR charts, 1-page profiles, and other paperwork are completed and updated regularly. You will also work alongside Support Workers, supporting with direct care visits when required, as well as completing monitoring checks including medication competency, spot checks, and carers assessments.
You will work with clients to ensure they get the most out of care & support from Radis.
About Radis & The Service
Radis was established in 2001, and since then, it has grown to become a leading provider of community-based social care and support for thousands of vulnerable adults and children in England and Wales, focused on supporting people to live independently in their own homes and as part of their local communities.
Our Reading Supported Living Service supports young people in the area, either in their own home in the community or at one of our supported living flats/houses. We support a range of different service users who live with health conditions such as mental health issues, learning disabilities, and challenging behavior, as well as other health conditions.
Shifts
You will be required to complete a range of shift patterns such as:
* 07:00 - 15:00
* 14:30 - 22:00
* Alternate Weekends
Requirements
* Most importantly, we are looking for somebody who has the right values and a genuine desire to ensure our clients receive the best possible support.
* You must have worked in the health and social care sector for a minimum of 1 year and in a similar Supported Living or Mental Health setting.
* You must be willing to take part in an On-call Rota.
* You should have access to a vehicle to travel between services within the Reading area.
* You must currently hold or be working towards an NVQ Level 3.
