We are looking for a skilled and experienced Social Media Lead to join our dynamic Marketing team. You will be taking the lead on our digital presence, specifically across social media and other online marketing platforms. This role will involve creating, executing, and optimising social media campaigns that engage our audience, build brand awareness, and drive leads. You will work closely with the wider marketing team but will be expected to work autonomously with minimal input once strategies are defined.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day activities will include:
* Develop and Execute Social Media Strategies: Take the lead on crafting, planning, and implementing social media strategies across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to support business objectives.
* Content Creation: Develop a variety of content (graphics, articles, videos, infographics) tailored to our target audience, with a focus on educational and thought leadership content related to accounting and finance.
* Content Calendar Management: Create and manage a content calendar to ensure timely posting and a consistent brand voice across all channels.
* Engagement and Community Management: Monitor and respond to social media interactions, cultivating relationships with followers and industry influences, while managing online reputation.
* Performance Analysis: Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns using analytics tools. Adjust strategies based on performance data to drive results.
* Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media content aligns with the company’s overall branding, tone, and messaging.
* Paid Social Campaigns: Manage paid advertising campaigns on social platforms, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance tracking.
* Industry Awareness: Stay current with the latest social media trends, digital marketing best practices, and accounting industry updates to keep content relevant and engaging.
Technical Expertise
You will be responsible for:
* 2-4 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a professional services or B2B environment (accountancy or finance experience is a plus).
* Strong understanding of major social media platforms and how to use them effectively for business growth.
* Proven experience in developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
* Strong creative and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work autonomously and make decisions independently.
* A proactive and adaptable mindset with a results-oriented approach.
